Man, 72, Dies In Head-On Collision On SR 202 Near Redmond
A man died Tuesday morning at SR 202 and Ames Lake Road, the same place a 19-year-old woman died in late June.

REDMOND, WA — A crash Tuesday morning along SR 202 near Redmond left a Renton man dead and sent the driver of a semitrailer to the hospital with injuries.
According to Washington State Patrol, Sucha S. Randhawa, 72, was driving westbound just before 5 a.m. when he collided head-on with a semi driven by Michael Freeman, 53, of Harrah. Randhawa died at the scene, and Freeman was taken to Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland for treatment.
Washington State Patrol did not immediately say what caused the collision.

On June 25, Justina Lamphere, 19, was exiting a driveway around 4:45 a.m. when a pickup truck hit her car. Lamphere's Ford Mustang rolled over and hit a tree. A 2-year-old and a 4-month-old in the car were critically injured.
The driver of the pickup, a 24-year-old from Bothell, was also injured. He and the two children were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
