
Baseball season is already one month deep, and man did it fly by. We are now 4-0 in regular season play, and everything we have practiced is coming in full circle.
Our team has fantastic chemistry, and everyone really accepts his role, no matter what it is. I was back on the field again Thursday night after being out a couple games due to a minor strain in my trapezius muscle.
Our team won 12-1 against Issaquah in 5 innings — we had 5 homeruns, and Zach Abbruzza continued his hot hitting streak with 2 of the 5. Our team is in a really good groove right now, and we aren’t taking any days off nor taking any team for granted.

Along with baseball, school is another priority for me. I have been in the Running Start program for two years now, which allows me to take classes at Bellevue Community College in addition to my regular classes at .
I have decided to take next quarter without any classes so that I can focus on my senior season of baseball. I already have 47 college credits, so I am way ahead of the curve. This next quarter should allow me to focus on baseball and be completely dedicated to winning a state championship.

Winning a state championship would mean everything to me and the other seniors on our team as it is what we have worked for all our lives. It truly would be icing on the cake of a fantastic high school baseball career. Our coach Dan Pudwill is the most capable coach of getting us a state championship ring as he keeps us focused and makes sure we are as prepared as we can be when we have a game.
