Emergency Closure On Novelty Hill Road Friday

REDMOND, WA - King County road repair crews will close a section of Novelty Hill Road Friday to make an emergency repair. According to the county, crews will need to install a steel plate over a failing catch basin.

Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the westbound lane of Novelty Hill Road at the 195th Avenue Northeast roundabout will be closed due to the repair work. A detour will take drivers through Union Hill for westbound access.

The county is warning that drivers should expect long delays near the roundabout throughout the day Friday.
