Join Redmond Poet Laureate Jeannine Hall Gailey as she shares geek-themed poetry inspired by anime, robots, science and more. Gailey's work deals with women’s power and transformation. Hear Gailey read from her first two books, "Becoming the Villainess" and "She Returns to the Floating World," and enjoy a collaborative art exhibit with local artist Michaela Eaves, whose pictures of mermaids, zombies, and other hybrid creatures will echo themes in Gailey’s poetry.
