Join Redmond Poet Laureate Jeannine Hall Gailey for a discussion with Washington State Poet Laureate Kathleen Flenniken about "PLUME." The poems of "PLUME" are nuclear-age songs of innocence set in the "empty" desert west. Flenniken draws on her experience growing up around Hanford, Washington, and later working there as an engineer. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Cathc the Follow Up Discussion, 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17 at Redmond Library
Kathleen Flenniken reads more from "PLUME" and continues the discussion. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
