Gone In 60 Seconds: Pizza Delivery Van Stolen In Redmond
The delivery man dropped off a pizza. When he returned to where his van was parked, it was gone.
REDMOND, WA — If there's one thing you should by now it's that car thieves work quickly — especially if you leave your keys in an unlocked vehicle.
A pizza delivery driver learned that lesson the hard way recently in Redmond. He was dropping off a pizza near West Lake Sammamish Parkway and Northeast 40th Street and decided to leave his van running with the keys inside. He only left the vehicle for a minute, but that was enough time for someone to take advantage of the situation.
The delivery driver caught a glimpse of his van "peeling out" down the parkway, police said. Luckily, the van was found ditched in Seattle the next day.
