On Monday, Redmond Elementary students volunteered with the PTSA to support an art project for the City of Redmond. By the end of the day, brightly colored paint had been applied to 400 wood stakes . . . and a few students, parent volunteers, and teachers. This will be part of a larger art project in the Downtown Park to be unveiled this spring.
The students also shared some of their ideas of what kinds of things the City should bring to the new Downtown Park. You can share your ideas when the Downtown Park is discussed at the City of Redmond Community Meeting on Wednesday, February 19, at City Hall.
