At our April meeting Jaxon Ravens, chair of the Washington state Democratic Party, will talk about the 2016 election cycle. He will explain what's at stake for voters at the national, state and local level, and what can we do to support good democratic and progressive causes and candidates.

Jaxon Ravens was elected chair of the Washington state Democratic Party in February 2014. Prior to that he served as executive director for the Washington state Democratic Party for 10 years. In addition to his work here in Washington, Jaxon serves as a Vice President of the Association of State Democratic Chairs and the elected representative of Democratic Parties in the western United States. He is also a member of the DNC finance and budget committee.

Drinking Liberally - Redmond gives like-minded progressives a place to talk politics. You don’t need to be a policy expert and this isn’t a book club - just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent in an informal, friendly environment.
