Lake Sammamish Girls' Lacrosse Breezes by Tacoma, Lake Tapps
Both the Division 1 and Division 2 squads were victorious in their matches on Thursday.

TACOMA – Allison Clements scored a season-high 7 goals to drive the Lake Sammamish offense in a 21–9 Division 1 girl's high school lacrosse win over Tacoma Thursday at Mason Middle School in Tacoma.
The win lifted Lake Sammamish to its third win of the season and gave Clements 22 goals on the season to lead the team's scoring.
Lake Sammamish was powerful from the start, outscoring Tacoma 16-4 by halftime, before cruising to the win.

Maggie Lehr added 2 goals and Zoe Escarda had 3 for Sammamish, while Sadie Treleven had the hat trick for Tacoma and Charlie Tisakowski came up with 12 saves in goal.

REDMOND – Marlena Masterleo scored 4 goals to lead the Lake Sammamish girls' Division II squad to surprise Lake Tapps with a 15–5 girls lacrosse win Thursday at .
The win was the fourth of the season for the fifth-place Lake Sammamish squad. Lake Tapps dropped just its second of the season, but remains tied with Curtis and Klahowya for second spot in the Southeast.
Lake Sammamish exerted itself early, building an 11–2 halftime advantage before cruising to the win in the second.
Masterleo’s 4 goals matched a season-high for the midfielder and gives her 17 on the season. Alex Johnson and Hannah Linsky also contributed 3 goals for Lake Sammamish. Megan Lucchesi and Morgan Lancaster each netted 2 goals and Kylie Keener had a solo shot for Lake Tapps.
Lake Sammamish (4-2-0) next faces Curtis (4-3-0), at 5:45 p.m. Monday at Curtis High School Stadium in University Place.
