Lake Washington 11th Grade Girls Honored For STEM Achievements
The Kirkland-Redmond branch of the American Association of University Women honored 20 Lake Washington School District 11th-grade girls.

KIRKLAND, WA - The Kirkland-Redmond branch of the American Association of University Women is honoring 20 Lake Washington School District 11th-grade girls for achievements in STEM (science, technology, math).
The Lake Washington students were honored at a March 6 reception at the L.E. Scarr Resource Center in Redmond. The students include:
- Eastlake High School: Anisa Ashraf (science), Stacie Keck (technology) and Maura Keith (math)
- Emerson High School: Dara Nitschke (science) and Abigail Prendergast (technology and math):
- International Community School: Olga Korohod (math), Kiswa Rahman (technology) and Aliya Shabbir (math)
- Juanita High School: Kendall Stern (science), Shawdi Mehrvarzan (technology) and Laura Chen (math)
- Lake Washington High School: Jun Tu (science), Kate East (technology) and Delaney Norman (math)
- Redmond High School: Anna Wang (science), Rishma Murugan (technology) and Virginia Qian (math): •
- Tesla STEM High School: Neha Hulkund (science), Neha Nagvekar (technology) and Vaishnavi Phadnis (math)
