3 Candidates For Lake Wash. SD Superintendent Job Revealed

The candidates include educators from Illinois, Nebraska, and Portland, Ore.

REDMOND, WA - The Lake Washington School District board has narrowed down the number of superintendent candidates to three. The candidates include:

  • Dr. Paul Gordon, Superintendent of Glen Ellyn School District in Glen Ellyn, Ill.
  • Dr. Erin Prince, Vice President of Education Policy, Chalkboard Project in Portland, Ore.
  • Dr. Jane Stavem, Associate Superintendent for Instruction at Lincoln Public Schools in Lincoln, Neb.

The candidates have been kept confidential up until now. The board will likely select one of the three candidates for the job at a meeting scheduled for Friday evening. The public will get a chance to meet the candidates at a town hall meeting scheduled for Thursday at school district headquarters in Redmond.
