Newspaper Delivery Driver's Car Stolen In Redmond
The delivery driver hopped out of her car to drop off a paper. That's when the thieves swooped in.

REDMOND, WA - A newspaper delivery driver had her car stolen in Redmond in the middle of her route, according to police.
The incident happened Dec. 6 around 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Avondale Road and Northeast 95th Street. The woman jumped out of her car to drop off some papers at an apartment complex. She left her car idling, and that's when the thieves swooped in.
The driver was not harmed or threatened during the theft, according to police.

A 48-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of stealing several hundred dollars worth of clothing and other items from a Redmond department store.

Police arrested a 58-year-old male after finding he had taken four bottles of liquor from a local grocery store with out paying from them. The suspect also had a couple warrants for previous thefts and was booked into jail.

A man reported his vehicle had been stolen from his apartment complex after the car had been left unlocked and with keys inside. The car was recovered a few hours later in Lakewood. No arrests have been made.

Police received reports from three car prowl victims all within about a block of each other. The suspect is unknown.

A witness spotted a female looking through several mailboxes and called police. Officers located the 25-year-old suspect and found evidence she had taken mail that did not belong to her. She was arrested on suspicion of mail theft and for an outstanding felony warrant.

A thief broke into an unoccupied house that was being remodeled and stole a few tools. The suspect is not known.

A car prowler pried open a car window and stole a wallet that had been left inside. The victim told police his credit cards were used soon after in Seattle. Evidence gathered is being processed.
