Nude Man Seen 'Hanging Out' At Perrigo Park In Redmond

REDMOND, WA - A man wearing nothing but glasses and a ponytail was seen recently "hanging out" in Perrigo Park, according to Redmond police. A woman spotted the dude on Nov. 15 around 2:30 p.m.

Officers went to the park to cover the situation, but they couldn't find the man anywhere. The witness said he was a white guy in his late 50s with a medium build.

November 12, 2018

Fraud at Redmond Town Center
A subject used counterfeit $100 bills in two separate shops in Redmond Town Center. The suspect's identity is not known.

Theft at the 16100 block of Cleveland St.
Two people reported their locked bikes had been stolen from a bike rack sometime during the day. Both victims told police the cable locks they had used to secure their bikes had been cut. RPD recommends using U-locks, instead of cable locks, as they tend to be more difficult to cut through. No suspect information was available.

12:30 p.m., theft at the 15800 block of Leary Way
Packages were stolen from front porch by an unknown suspect.

November 13, 2018

2:45 p.m., vehicle prowl at the 6200 block of 188th Ave NE
A victim of a smash and grab called police after she found her vehicle's window broken and backpack stolen. The suspect is unknown.

6:53 p.m., residential burglary at the 6700 block of 138th Ave NE
A woman came home to find someone had entered her apartment and stolen several designer purses from her closet. The victim told officers the sliding glass door was open and it appeared the suspect had rummaged through several areas of the home. Evidence gathered at the scene is being processed.

November 14, 2018

4:40 a.m., commercial burglary at the 17900 block of Redmond Way
Police were called after a shop employee found the business' door had been forced open and several tools had been taken. There are no suspect leads at this time.

5:32 p.m., arrest at the 11800 block of Red-Wood Road
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after he was involved in a traffic collision. Officers observed numerous signs of impairment at the scene, arrested him and found his BAC was more than twice the legal limit. He was booked into jail.

11:10 a.m., arrest at the 15200 block of NE 40th St.
Police were called after a woman driving through a parking garage saw a vehicle crashed into a parked car with an unconscious male at the wheel. Upon contact, officers found the 31-year-old male to be heavily intoxicated. He was arrested and booked.

November 15, 2018

11:57 a.m., fraud at the 17300 block of NE 25th Court
Two members of a local PTA reported being scammed out of hundreds of dollars through an email racket. Both victims received an email appearing to be from the association's president requesting they purchase gift cards to give to veterans in hospice. The suspect requested they email the gift card numbers so the family's could use the cards before the holiday. Both victims complied and then realized the email account was not actually from the president. The suspect is not known.

2:28 p.m., arrest at the 15800 block of Redmond Way
A 25-year-old male was arrested after he consumed stolen deli snacks and beers in the middle of a local grocery store and fought with police. When police were escorting him out of the store the suspect became combative and attempted to kick and bite officers. Due to the his high level of intoxication, the suspect was brought to a hospital for medical care before being booked into jail.

November 16, 2018

Vehicle prowl at the 18600 block of Redmond Way
Two cars were prowled sometime overnight and the unknown thief stole sunglasses, cash and other items. There were no signs of forced entry on either vehicle.

November 17, 2018

5 p.m., theft at the 16100 block of NE 83rd St.
Bike Team Officers recovered a bike that had been stolen from a Redmond apartment parking garage and reunited it with its owner. While on patrol the officers spotted a subject riding the distinctive bike. The subject was known to police from numerous prior contacts involving stolen property. While the serial number wasn't registered, officers tracked the bike back to the local shop where it had recently been purchased and were able to contact the owner. The owner reported both his and his wife's bikes were missing from their garage and the locks they had used had all been cut. After it was confirmed the subject was in possession of stolen property he was arrested.

November 18, 2018

9:24 p.m., assault at the 8800 block of 161st Ave NE
Two women got in a fight outside a sandwich shop that ended with one woman stabbing the other with scissors. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the 52-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of assault.
