One Man Could Face 8 Charges Related to Redmond Car Prowls

Police arrested the man last week after they found him sitting in another person's truck.

REDMOND, WA - Police arrested a man last week who was allegedly found sitting inside a pickup truck that wasn't his, and now he could face up to eight charges related to car prowls in the area.

A woman on her way to work called police last Wednesday near 8 a.m. to report a suspicious person trying car door handles in the vicinity of 149th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 75th Street, just west of downtown. When police arrived, they found a 20-year-old Auburn man sitting in a truck.

Police say he "readily admitted" to breaking into cars in that area.
