Peace beyond Redmond

World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace by the Ahmadi Muslim Khalif is a book for those who truly care about world peace.

Peace demonstrations disrupt the peace. Marches for $15 dollar wages hurt the economy. Occupy strategies leave litter. Members of the widely persecuted Ahmadiyya Muslim Community work for peace and justice in various ways, one of which is that every member aims to give a copy of the book World Crisis and the Pathway to Peace to a leader in their circle of influence. The author of the book, His Holiness, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, uses straightforward language in describing how to avoid WWIII.  In speeches and letters to world leaders he stresses the achievement of peace through justice.  Before the British Parliament he presented the Islamic perspective on the global crisis.  At the military headquarters in Koblenz, Germany, he explained Islam’s teachings of loyalty to one’s nation.  On Capitol Hill he stressed international relations based on justice.

This book contains these and seven other speeches along with letters to 13 world leaders.  Ahmadi Muslims meet and donate this book to people who truly care about world peace.  Last year mayors, senators, and other leaders received over 20 copies in the Seattle area alone. His Holiness also speaks directly to the Arabic speaking people via MTA.TV, a 24/7 broadcast network working to reconcile sectarian differences within Islam. Above all he prays for this peace.

he power of His Holiness’ words of wisdom is displayed in the success of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community which is established in more than 200 countries across the globe.  In Pakistan and elsewhere they withstand persecution with prayer and patience. After attending their Annual International Convention in the United Kingdom this September, I bear witness to the fact that the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community leads in achieving peaceful purposes.
