Police Seek Redmond Carjacking Suspect
The suspect jumped in a car at the Redmond Town Center and forced the victims to take him to a Kirkland bank.

REDMOND, WA - Police are seeking a robbery and carjacking suspect who jumped into a car at the Redmond Town Center on Oct. 13 and forced a couple to make a withdrawal from an ATM in Kirkland. And while the victims were able to escape unharmed, the robber made off with their vehicle.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. in a parking lot near a restaurant at the Redmond Town Center. The two victims, a woman, 50, and a man, 51, were sitting in their car when the suspect jumped in the back seat. The robber insinuated he had a gun and forced the couple to drive to the ATM. The suspect took off in their car.
Once at the ATM, the robber forced the woman to go make a withdrawal. The male victim was able to jump out of the car and he and the woman ran to safety. The suspect got away in their car.

Police later recovered the car parked in a Redmond driveway and it is being processed for fingerprints or other evidence. The victims were not able to get a look at the suspect because he was wearing a hat and something covering his face.
