Redmond City Council Holds Neighborhood Conversation

From the City of Redmond: On April 13, 2017, City Council will host the second Neighborhood Conversation of 2017 at Einstein Elementary, located at 18025 NE 116th St, Redmond, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. These forums are a casual and convenient way for residents to interact with their elected leaders. Each meeting is held in a different part of the city, and they are open for residents to direct the topics—whether it’s a neighborhood issue or the vision for Redmond.

“The Neighborhood Conversations allow us to visit face-to-face with residents in their neighborhoods, and hear questions and concerns directly from them. We look forward to these meetings and hope everyone will come join us,” stated Mayor John Marchione.

This forum will be held in the school gymnasium at Einstein Elementary in the Education Hill neighborhood. Community members can connect with their neighbors and elected leaders, learn about City projects, and write down questions for Council or City staff. There will be a reception at 6:15 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. Council will answer questions, discuss current projects in the neighborhood, and listen to ideas and thoughts from the community.

This meeting is “kid-friendly” and light snacks will be provided.
