Redmond Murder A 'Tragic Domestic Violence Incident': Police

REDMOND, WA - Redmond police have arrested the wife of a woman found dead Tuesday night in her home. Police caught the suspect, a 26-year-old woman, as she was catching a bus out of town.

Police responded to a home along the 18700 block of Redmond Way Tuesday around 9 p.m. Inside the home, they found a 26-year-old woman dead, and later determined that she had been murdered.

“The investigation is far from complete, but everything indicates this was a tragic domestic violence incident and there was no danger to the public,” said Redmond Police Lt. Tim Gately in a statement.

The victim's identity has not yet been released by the King County Medical Examiner.
