Redmond Murder Suspect Has Violent Past: Court Records
The woman arrested Wednesday for allegedly killing her wife has a history of violence, court records show

REDMOND, WA - The woman arrested Wednesday in Redmond for murdering her wife has a history of violent acts, according to court records. In the past, she allegedly attacked a man with a hammer, and threatened her roommates and landlords with "bad consequences."
Redmond police arrested the 27-year-old suspect Wednesday. She was found trying to leave the area on a bus, according to Redmond police. Police found the 26-year-old victim around 9 p.m. Tuesday at a home along the 18700 block of Redmond Way. The woman suffered "severe trauma" and likely had been dead for several days, according to police.
On April 25 2016, the suspect allegedly attacked her housemate with a hammer at a house along Beacon Avenue South, according to court records. Her wife - the victim in this week's murder - was living with her at the time, but was out of state in Georgia.

According to police records, Seattle officers found Oscar Valenzuela, 42, outside the home bleeding from the head. He told officers he was scared and that the woman had "tried to kill me."
In May 2016, the landlord of the building filed for a protection order against the woman.

"[The tenant] told me, Guadalupe, 'Next time you come into my room it will have a bad consequence,'" landlord Guadalupe Vazquez-Cano wrote in the protection order request. "We are all scared of [the tenant] and afraid she might attack us as he did Mr. Valenzuela. ... I am hoping to evict her. But I am afraid if I start the eviction process she will carry out her 'bad consequence' warning."
Patch is not naming the suspect because she has not been formally charged yet. The King County Medical Examiner has not officially released the victim's name or cause of death.
The suspect is being held in the King County Jail without bail.
