Redmond Road Rage Incident Ends In Aggravated Assault: Police

REDMOND, WA - A road rage incident in Redmond led to a man smashing another driver's window. The incident took place last week near the Redmond PCC.
According to police, the victim and the offender got into an argument along the 11400 block of Avondale Road just before 10 a.m. on Jan. 10. They exchanged words and "aggravated gesturing," according to police. The incident ended when the offender threw something at the victim's car, smashing the rear window.
Police located and arrested the offender. Charges are pending.

A 40-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a patrol officer witnessed his vehicle careen through a fence and crash into a tree. A 31-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of shoplifting after a store's loss prevention witnessed the suspect steal a bottle of perfume.

A woman was coerced into providing her social security number and date of birth over the phone by someone posing as some kind of law enforcement officer. The suspect told the victim she was being investigated in connection to a vehicle found with blood and drugs in it. The caller promptly hung up as soon as the victim began questioning the false accusations. The suspect called from a Florida phone number but his identity is not known.

Two vehicles were broken into while the owners were nearby inside a local business. There was no surveillance video and no suspect information is available.
