Redmond Woman Honored For Work On Cancer Awareness
Dellann Elliott Mydland is the founder of the EndBrainCancer Initiative.

REDMOND, WA - Redmond resident Dellann Elliott Mydland will be celebrated for her work on cancer awareness by CURE Media Group/CURE Magazine on Nov. 18 in a ceremony in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Mydland was a 2016 recipient of the Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) Heroes Award. GBM is an aggressive brain tumor that afflicts approximately 10,000 people every year.
Mydland and her late husband, Christoper Steward Elliott, founded the EndBrainCancer Initiative in 2002 to provide better access to treatment for brain cancer patients. They founded the initiative after running into problems during Christopher Steward Elliott's treatment getting access to top doctors.
