Redmond Woman Pistol Whipped, Threatened By Man Visiting Her Apartment
The incident unfolded near midnight on Christmas Eve, and almost ended with another man being shot.

REDMOND, WA - Police responded to a harrowing situation here around 11 p.m. on Christmas Eve after a man pistol-whipped a woman and threatened to kill her and her 3-year-old daughter.
The incident happened inside an apartment at 16600 Northeast 80th St. The 27-year-old suspect was apparently friends with the woman and visiting her apartment when he allegedly hit her with a pistol several times, threatened to kill her and her daughter, and then went around the apartment gathering more weapons, including a rifle, handgun, ammunition, and stun gun, according to a police report.
The woman called her boyfriend, who arrived at the apartment armed with a gun. He confronted the suspect, who then tried to shoot him three times, but could not discharge the weapon. The boyfriend pulled out his gun to keep the suspect at bay while he called 911, police said.
