The Redmond-Woodinville BullDawgs won the 9U bracket of the Heroes of Everett baseball tournament on July 24.
The team finished the weekend with a 4-1 record, beating the host Klouters team 5-4 in the championship game. In a great 6th inning, come-from-behind rally, the BullDawgs scored three runs with key hitting from Colby Fazio, Jensen Lavering, Carson Bruener, Jack Hilbun and Jon Campbell.

Carson Bruener pitched a scoreless bottom of the 6th for the win. Duncan Warriner delivered a stirring pitching performance Sunday, throwing six near-perfect innings over two games, allowing just one run while striking out 16 batters and allowing only six runners to reach base in both games.
The whole team contributed to make this weekend a great success, and a lot of fun, too. The BullDawgs team is made up of players from Redmond North Little League who wanted to keep playing ball over the summer.
