Redmond's Ruby's Diner Closes
The California-based diner chain appears to have pulled out from the state.
Ruby's Diner in Redmond has closed its doors at the , the shopping center's management office confirmed Monday.
Kim Miller, an employee at nearby , said the diner apparently closed about a week ago. Miller said some of Ruby's employees who came into Matts' last Monday said they were notified of the closure just a day or two beforehand.
“So it was kind of a last minute thing,” Miller said. “That’s really all we know in terms of what went down there.”

The closure comes just a few months after the Woodinville Ruby's in February. At the time, a sign was posted that directed customers to the Redmond location.
The diner's corporate website no longer lists Washington as a state with Ruby's locations.

Calls to a manager at the Redmond Town Center and Ruby's Diner headquarters in Irvine, Calif., were not returned Monday. Redmond Patch will update this story as soon as more information is available.
