Season's Greetings for Strong Spirits
Mary, the mother of Jesus, won favors of peace and joy. Season's greetings share hope for more spirited people to win such favors today.

Season’s Greetings of peace and joy to all spirited Seahawks fans. This season brings lots of attention to strong spirits and enables many to show kindness in all circumstances. Christmas is a celebration for the Christians but very few non-Muslims are aware that Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) is honored and revered by Muslims. Mary, the revered mother of Jesus, is also spoken of very highly in the Holy Book of the Muslims, the Qur’an. In fact an entire chapter is named after her. She, as well as her son courageously fulfilled their role in calling brave souls to the worship of one God and daily acts of kindness.
This season of football games reflects an evolution of humankind towards kinder contests than those held in the coliseum 2,000 years ago. Modern warfare stands in need of strong spirits putting peace and joy above baser emotions. Jesus came to spread peace and he was aptly called the “Prince of Peace”. One sect of Muslims, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, has been living the teachings of Jesus by promoting and working toward peace throughout the world. The Supreme Worldwide Leader of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad is in the forefront of sharing his peace message with all sectors of the society. Most recently he delivered the keynote speech in London, UK at the community’s eleventh annual Peace Symposium.
Strong spirits in a bottle or a healthy contest of spirited athletes may have a place for some in finding peace and joy but with the true spirit of Christmas and the true spirit of Islam there are more winners. Happy Holidays to all.
