Sketch Of Suspect In Eastside Serial Apartment Burglaries Released

An estimated 70 burglaries have happened on the Eastside. Redmond police believe this man is involved.

REDMOND, WA - Redmond police have released a sketch of a man they believe is involved in a rash of apartment burglaries across the Eastside. One or more burglars have hit 25 apartments in Redmond, and several more in Woodinville. Some 70 burglaries have occurred in total, according to Redmond police.

The burglaries are all very similar, police say. The burglars are targeting apartments in the morning or early afternoon - while people are away at work - and are gaining access by prying open the deadbolt. The burglars are also taking similar items, like cash and jewelry, and skipping large electronics.

The sketch was created after a witness to one of the burglaries came forward. The suspect is described as an Asian man in his 20s with an average build, prominent eyebrows, and "very" white teeth. He is average height, about 5'9" to 5'10".
