Suspect In Redmond 'Crime Spree' Arrested
Over the course of two days in March, one man carried out multiple car thefts and burglaries, Redmond police say.

REDMOND, WA — Redmond police have arrested a Tacoma man who they say went on a crime spree at the end of March, carrying out burglaries and car thefts in the Willows industrial area.
The suspect, Logan Malcom, 21, was arrested because of "excellent" security footage of his crimes. Police were also able to use the King County Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) to identify Malcom.
The crime spree in Redmond began on March 25 and lasted into the next day. In one incident, a couple woke up in their apartment to see Malcom walking out the door with their stuff, police said. In another incident, police tried to stop Malcom while driving a stolen vehicle. He was able to dodge stop-sticks they placed on the roadway.
