Observational drawing is the foundation of art; drawing and painting what you see is key to value and composition. Every art school wants students to come in with a grasp on life drawing. If you can draw the human form correctly, you can draw anything. In this week-long intensive, we will focus on observational drawing from still lives, interior perspective, and from live models, building a solid portfolio in the process. We will be focusing on pastels and watercolor as our primary color mediums.
