Teen Intensive: Printmaking
Students will learn basic printmaking processes including monoprints, intaglio, and relief, plus studio etiquette, safety, and press use.
Gain foundational skills in printmaking by experimenting with monoprints, intaglio techniques, and relief printing using both traditional and newer materials like sintra and recycled surfaces to create matrices. Students will learn basic processes step-by-step that will prepare them for a more in-depth printmaking course. This class not only covers the basics, but teaches studio etiquette and press use and safety. Students can choose to experiment with all techniques covered or focus on one process.
7/6-7/10, 10 am to 3 pm, Age 13+, $250
