Thieves Botch ATM Theft At Redmond Hotel
It was a bad idea to begin with, but these thieves still tried to wheel an ATM out of a hotel lobby.

REDMOND, WA - Two men tried to steal a whole ATM machine from the lobby of a Redmond hotel recently. The theft was wildly unsuccessful, but police did not find the thieves after they ran from the scene of the crime.
The two thieves went to the Element Seattle hotel along Street just before 1 a.m. on June 21. They entered the hotel lobby armed with a dolly. The two thieves tried to hoist the machine onto the dolly, but two hotel employees spotted them and called police.
By the time police got to the hotel, the thieves were gone. However, police did gather evidence at the scene in the hopes of tracking them down.
