Woman Carjacked At Knifepoint At Redmond Transit Center

Redmond police are trying to find the three suspects responsible for the carjacking and robbery.

REDMOND, WA - Redmond police are searching for three suspects connected to a carjacking and robbery Wednesday night at the Redmond Transit Center. A woman was approached by three people - a man and two women - who asked for a ride from the Target to the transit center, and the woman obliged. She was robbed when she reached the transit center.

According to Redmond police, the incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. The trio approached the woman in the Target parking lot and asked for money, but she refused. Instead, she gave them a ride to the transit center.

Once they arrived at the transit center, the man pulled a knife on the woman and threatened to hurt her if she didn't hand over her car and other personal possessions. The car is a black 2003 Kia Sorrento with a gray driver's side door and a gray passenger side quarter panel. The car has the Washington license plate No. ABY8043.

The victim was not hurt during the ordeal.

Police said the male suspect has a bald head and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans. Police said that one of the women was wearing a white long-sleeved T-shirt and blue jeans and had her hair braided.
