1 Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash Near Federal Way
One person was killed Monday morning in a crash involving a semi-truck and two other vehicles on Pacific Highway South.
FEDERAL WAY, WA — A deadly crash near Federal Way shut down Pacific Highway in both directions Monday morning. Police and fire crews responded to the scene on the 37300 block of Pacific Highway South shortly before 9:30 a.m. Police said drivers should expect the road to remain closed into the afternoon while an investigation continues.

According to South King Fire, the crash involved a semi-truck and two other vehicles. Firefighters said one of the three people hurt in the crash died at the scene. Two other people and a puppy were rescued and transported to local hospitals for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately released.
