1 Rescued From Renton Apartment Fire
Renton firefighters rescued one person from the flames during an apartment fire along Puget Drive Friday morning.
RENTON, WA — Renton firefighters quickly contained an apartment fire Friday morning and rescued a person from the complex, according to officials. Renton Regional Fire Authority crews deployed to 1300 South Puget Drive shortly after 10 a.m. Friday.

Firefighters had the flames under control within a few minutes and successfully rescued a patient from the complex, officials said. The fire marshal's office will take over the investigation to determine the fire's cause.
