1 Wounded In Downtown Renton Shooting
The shooting happened near 4 a.m. Saturday along Rainier Avenue, according to police.
RENTON, WA — A shooting near downtown Renton early Saturday morning left one person wounded, and the shooting suspect was able to escape.
The incident happened near 3:45 a.m., according to police, along Rainier Avenue near the McLendon Hardware store. The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but police did not immediately know their condition.
This is at least the second shooting in the downtown area this week. A person opened fire at the Renton Transit Center just before 3 p.m. on Thursday. No one was hurt, but police are still looking for the shooter.
