RENTON, WA — More than 275,000 ballots have been counted and an estimated 153,000 remain after the second round of primary results Wednesday, according to King County Elections. Many of the ballots left to tabulate include those that were dropped off or postmarked on Election Day, which still need to go through the signature verification process.

Wednesday's ballot drop showed little movement in the percentages for most races. More dramatic swings are typically seen later in the week, as more of the last-minute ballots get added to the mix. While a healthy portion of the races appeared to have early apparent winners to advance to November, a handful of contests remain close for the top two spots, including in Seattle, Sammamish and Renton.

As of 6 p.m. Wednesday, voter turnout was just under 32 percent countywide and approaching 40 percent in Seattle.

Here are the latest results from a few races around King County (updated Wednesday @ 4 p.m.)
