17-Year-Old Boy Killed In Renton Shooting
A teen boy died Monday night after a shooting on North 4th Street, according to Renton police.
RENTON, WA — A 17-year-old boy died Monday night after he was found in a Renton alley with gunshot wounds, according to police. In a news release late Monday, the police department said a report of shots fired came in just before 7:45 p.m. near the 1400 block of North 4th Street.
Responding officers found the teen wounded in the area, and he later died from his injuries, police said.
Investigators released no information on potential suspects Monday, saying only that "preliminary information indicates that the victim was targeted and that there is no risk to the general public.
