Renton Area Power Outage Down To 1,500
There were 5 outages around the region Monday morning with the largest affecting south Seattle and Renton.

RENTON, WA - Seattle City Light reported a number of power outages Monday morning affecting 3,747 people between Shoreline and Renton. A majority of those affected, however, were in south Seattle, Renton, and Skyway.
As of noon, power had been restored to Seattle residents and those living along Rainier Avenue in Renton and Lakeridge. About 1,500 were without power in Skyway and areas west of downtown Renton as of 12:30 p.m. About 500 customers could see power back on by 1:30, but there was no specific time for the remaining customers.
The large outage in the south end was caused by a car hitting a telephone poll, Seattle City Light said.
There were several other outages in the region. The second-largest was near Warren G. Magnuson Park in northeast Seattle affecting about 42 people. The utility estimated power would be back by around 3:30 p.m.
The outages came as heavy, wet snow blanketed Seattle. The snow was sticking to lawns and homes, but streets were bare at lower elevations.
