Wedding dresses - for a variety of reasons - sometimes end up lost. In 2012, a Des Moines, Iowa, bartender uncovered a dress that a customer found in a box on the street. Julie White posted a Craigslist ad about the find, and was actually able to track down its owner.

Even more amazingly, a woman recently found her mother's wedding dress while she was walking by an antique store in Grand Junction, Colo. The dress had been missing for 12 years, and the woman's mother had died in 2013.
