Federal Way man receives nine years in drug trafficking case (kentreporter.com) — A multi-state fentanyl trafficking investigation has led to lengthy federal prison sentences for several Western Washington residents, including a 22-year-old man from Renton who received nearly six years. Authorities say the conspiracy moved hundreds of thousands of pills and multiple kilos of drugs, with more alleged ringleaders, tied to a Seattle-area gang, still awaiting trial in 2027.
