Bomb Squad In Renton For Suspicious Device
Renton police blocked off part of the highlands area Sunday afternoon to deal with a suspicious device.
RENTON, WA - Renton police and the Port of Seattle bomb squad responded to the Renton Highlands area Sunday afternoon on a report of a suspicious device. Police reported the incident around 3:30 p.m.
Police were on scene near the intersection of Union Avenue and Northeast 4th Street. Police had evacuated the area and closed streets.
Renton police announced around 5:45 p.m. the device had been cleared from the scene and the roads were reopened.
