Burglar Enters Renton Store Through Ceiling, Steals Glass Pipes: Police

RENTON, WA - Renton police are trying to identify a man who apparently broke into a local corner store through the ceiling. Police say the "rooftop burglar" struck early Sunday morning. Although he had carte blanche inside the store, he only made off with some glass pipes, police say.

The burglary happened at a small grocery store in a shopping plaza at 536 Rainier Avenue South, which is the plaza that contains a Baskin Robbins and MoneyTree. Police say the burglar climbed up pipes at the back of the business, and then entered through the roof.
