Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle’s Southport announces the inaugural “Dock, Dog and Dink” floating pickleball tournament. The one-of-a-kind charity event will feature floating pickleball, adoptable rescue dogs and lakeside dining while raising funds for Three Little Pitties, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that rescues dogs from high-risk situations in Texas and transports them to loving homes throughout the Pacific Northwest, East Coast, and Midwest.
Three Little Pitties will be on-site throughout the event with adoptable dogs searching for their forever homes. Representatives from the nonprofit will also share information about fostering, volunteering and other ways to support its rescue efforts. Additional donations of cash and unopened dog food donations are encouraged to further support the organization’s mission of fostering a community of respect, responsibility and compassion for animals in need. The tournament will take place on Sunday, August 16, between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. and is open to eight teams of two players. Competitors will face off in a round-robin format featuring multiple 12-minute timed matches before advancing through semifinal rounds and championship match. Open to recreational and intermediate pickleball players, the tournament will us rally scoring and the winning team will receive a complimentary two-night stay at Hyatt Regency Lake Washington.

The event will take place at the hotel’s waterfront dock & drink restaurant where participants and spectators can enjoy casual lakeside dining throughout the afternoon. The menu features smash burgers, foot-long hot dogs and a variety of signature “docktails” including the specialty Floating Pickle-ADE beverage. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
