Hyatt Regency Lake Washington’s Water’s Table restaurant is hosting a lineup of jazz nights throughout the summer. The events will take place between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the restaurant’s outdoor patio overlooking the lake.&nbsp;

Jillian Mixon, an Olympia-based vocalist and jazz musician, will perform at the waterfront dock &amp; drink stage on Thursday, September 3.

Diners can enjoy a delicious menu featuring premium steaks with house made butter, fresh seafood options including king salmon and shrimp linguini, vegetarian options such as an asparagus risotto and salads, paired with craft cocktails and an extensive selection of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options.

The Trivia Nights will take place every Wednesday throughout the summer between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Teams can win prizes including a $50 dock &amp; drink credit for first place and a $25 dock &amp; drink credit for second place, which can be redeemed on a future visit to dock &amp; drink.

Kiddie Academy of Renton will host Hero Play Day on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m. for infants to 12-year-olds. Families are invited to attend this free community event designed to help children recognize and celebrate their personal heroes.
The new hands-on event will be an opportunity for children to dress up as their favorite superhero and participate in “training” stations set up around the Academy, including obstacle courses, strength tests and kindness missions.
