Car Crashes Into Plum Delicious Restaurant

RENTON, WA - Two people were seriously injured when their car crashed into the side of Plum Delicious restaurant. Police said the two occupants were extricated from the vehicle by Renton firefighters and transported to a local hospital. The collision closed down Sunset Boulevard from NE 12th Street to Monroe Avenue NE Tuesday night.

Fire officials told KOMO News that the driver was speeding, causing the vehicle to strike a tree before crashing through the front of the restaurant.
