Car Hits Child Inside Renton Apartment Complex (Update)

RENTON, WA - A young boy was hit by a car Wednesday evening inside a local apartment complex.

The accident happened inside the Creston Point Apartments, and the child suffered minor injuries, King County fire officials said. Fire officials said the boy was hit after he ran out in front of the car.

The King County Sheriff's Office ruled that the accident was not intentional.

The Creston Point Apartments are located off of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South and are partially located inside Renton and partially in Skyway. King County Fire District 20, which typically serves the Skyway area, was on scene providing assistance.
