Counterfeit Money Circulating: Police Release Photo
Police are saying the fake currency has been found at local businesses.
Local police are warning businesses owners and consumers to be on the lookout for counterfeit money circulating in the area.
Tukwila Police released a photo on Sunday of a fake $50 bill that was found at a local business. They say that there are similar $50 and $100 bills in circulation, and are warning merchants to check bills in these denominations.
The bill found on Sunday had red-and-white Chinese characters stamped on it.
