Deadly Motorcycle Crash Blocks Southbound SR 167 In Renton
Washington State Patrol, Renton Police and Renton Fire are on scene of a deadly crash involving a truck and a motorcycle.

RENTON, WA — All southbound lanes of State Route 167 were temporarily blocked Friday afternoon after a deadly crash south of Interstate 405. Washington State Patrol said a large truck pulling a trailer collided with a motorcycle near South 180th Street, killing the motorcyclist. Witnesses told WSP the motorcycle made an abrupt lane change in front of the truck, then was hit and struck another vehicle. Crews reopened a right lane around 3:40 p.m. but traffic continued to build on roads throughout the area. All lanes reopened shortly after 5 p.m.
I am still gathering details of the collision SB 167 near 180th. What I have right now is it involves a truck pulling a trailer, a motorcycle with the rider unfortunately deceased and possibly another passenger vehicle. More info when I get it.
