Deadly Motorcycle Crash Closes SR 167

SR 167 was closed for about four hours after a 28-year-old Kent motorcyclist died in a crash with two vehicles.

KENT, WA — A 28-year-old Kent man died early Thursday morning in a fiery crash along SR 167 near South 212th Street.

Just before 12:30 a.m., Dylan A. Hague was traveling southbound along SR 167 when he collided with an attenuator truck parked in the far right lane. Those trucks are typically placed in work zones to protect workers from crashes.

Hague's motorcycle burst into flames upon impact, and he was flung in the center lane of traffic. Another car hit Hague in that lane, according to Washington State Patrol. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police did not immediately know what caused Hague to crash into the back of the work truck.
