Downed Power Line Reported In Downtown Renton

RENTON, WA - Police were on scene in the downtown area Tuesday afternoon for a downed power line. The line was down near the intersection of Park Avenue North and North 2nd Street. There were no power outages associated with the downed line, according to Puget Sound Energy.

Fall's first real storm hit Puget Sound on Tuesday morning bringing heavy rain and strong wind gusts - some up to 40 MPH or more. There were no major power outages reported around Western Washington, however.
