Drunk Driver In Renton Drives Over Embankment

RENTON, WA - A drunk driver drover her car of an embankment along Northeast 3rd street early Thursday morning, according to Renton police. The accident happened along the 2600 block of Northeast 3rd, which is near Renton Technical College where the road turns into Northeast 4th Street.

Witnesses told police that the car was driving westbound along Northeast 3rd when it jumped the median, crossed into oncoming traffic, and then went over the embankment.

The woman was injured and was taken to Valley Medical Center for treatment.
